About Philip Boon.

Philip Boon has extensive experience in the world of fashion, firstly designing and manufacturing his eponymous clothing label and then expanding into his own retail stores.

Philip has worked as a creative director with countless independent designers playing an instrumental role in the launch of their careers. He has collaborated with many major labels to create images and various campaigns. Philip also has experience in costume design, fashion show coordination and has styled in various cities around the world; including Milan, Hamburg, Miami, Los Angeles and New York.

Perhaps best known as a celebrity stylist, Philip has made a name for himself working with A-List actors, actresses and supermodels, both for editorial and red carpet events. With famous clients as diverse as Sneaky Sound System to Magda Szubanski and even the controversial Marion Jones, his strength lies in bringing out the best in a client, campaign or individual.

Philip is constantly asked to comment on celebrity style and fashion, his humour and insight make him a regular social commentator in the pages of magazines and newspapers. He regularly appears on talk shows, current affair programs and other fashion-focused shows. His most recent appearance was memorable segment with Sarah Murdoch on the last season of Australia’s Next Top Model (FOX8).

Philip was paired with Philip Bloch, probably the world’s most famous celebrity stylist, to present a seminar on style and modern dressing. This and his experience in the fashion industry has led Philip to be in demand as a guest speaker at public and corporate events.

This year, Philip adds another string to his bow in his role as lecturer in Styling and Creative Direction at the Whitehouse Institute of Design. Philip’s insightful knowledge of the fashion industry will be invaluable to up-and-coming stylists.
